They lure you into their soft embrace. Gently, they whisper "It's a safe place". The voice inside you tells you something is not quite right. But you cannot refrain yourself from going towards their terrible delight.

Bit by bit they strip you clean, of the very things that kept your soul near. Slowly, slowly it drifts away.Β Β Seeking a better place, absent of fear.

"Wake up, wake up!" You hear someone shout. You suddenly find yourself in a place full of fear & doubt. "How did I get here?" You cannot figure it out. "I am trapped in a prison world and I cannot seem to get out."

I wake up in the darkness. My eyes strain to see. Exactly what has happened, "What has happened to me?"

The world has been engulfed in a fog as far as the eye can see. "Again someone please tell me what has happened to me?"

I search the world far & wide in seek of the true me. More questions unanswered - more darkness develops deep inside of my being.

My world, empty & dark, devoid of true happiness, it gives me a fright.

All of the sudden, someone turns on the light. A well known rescuer in charge of my eternal plight.

Truths wash over me ever so slowly. Sinking into my veins awakening something ancient, even more powerful than ever before. Eyes wide open, pieces of me return. My rescuer then begins the fiery burn.

Piece by piece the darkness melts away. My soul begins to mend & I start to feel okay.

Again I ask myself "What happened to me?" & then I feel the calling deep inside of me.

His answer comes as gentle as the morning breeze. "I've been here all along, it's time to listen to me."

"Be wary of the ones, who offer their kind embrace. For what they are truly seeking is someone good to taste."

"Piece by piece they will strip you away. Till you find yourself in a world in which you've been locked away."

"Do not fear, for i've been here all along. Guiding you to true salvation even when everything seems to go wrong."

"Look to me when you are frightened from this point on. For I will show you the true depths from which the real shadows come from."

I hold his hand tightly from now on. & even when I stumble he keeps me strong.

The journey has already been so long, but this is just the beginning of the life that brings me home.
