I know that one day they will tow me away like they do with the broken down wrecks,
next,
and there's always another to take your place in the pack,
that's the real reason we're told
that we shouldn't look back.

Diamonds and disappointments are one and the same.

Any pawnbroker will take in
your dream for
three cents on the dollar
it's yours to redeem,
do you dare?

When this engine breaks down in some
cheap out of town
I'll be there
with the tow rope in hand because
I was never attached to too much and
such is my life.
