Wings
butterfly's wings
how they flutter in the light
they flutter in,
and flutter out -
they made me think of you -
as you flutter in,
and flutter out
of my life,
as you flicker through my mind,
thru my heart.
butterfly's wings
are the ghost of summers past.
or of love past?
of a soul who fluttered
from this life to the next.
and so I think of you,
as I remembered our life.
I hope you come back as a butterfly,
and not as a moth.
