She came back into my life
Under a sleek disguise
Of a picture that stole my sight
Blind as can be
I fell tenderly
And opened the door once again

Her eye's they did beg
And lost
Was my soul
To the beauty that I had spied
Forgotten the words
Of pain that interred
Itself into my poor crying heart

And now I can see
How missed was she
And words couldn't say it all
One day at a time
She said it's fine
To rebuild the thing we had

Days and nights we would spend
Saying words and pretend
That no other did matter
Then came the storm
And all was gone
Until the picture appeared

And so it's alright
To make it a fight
To never retead the same path again
