An explosion of flavor
blossom on the tongue
the sizzle of vegetables
and laughter sweet sound

the crunch of iced snow
and campfire to keep
our fingers warm
slight stars twinkling

nothing so precious
but time with friends
loose wine and tongues
recounting memories

Etched in stone
