I can turn down this drink and stay sane for tomorrow.
I can close my eyes for once at night and not have them this hollow.
I can let the warmth of the sun wake me up.
I should have had poured tea in this cup.
I can take off this dress, the one stained with regret,
but I keep it on like how I keep those skeletons I can't just forget.
I got burned and turned my back from the light.
I might never go back, I might never be right.
I might never see the truth, I might always be blind,
and that's because, no heart can change once it made up its mind.
