(20 minute poetry)

In and on to the meal
the last of the suppers
the big reveal.
the greater the meal
the bigger the deal
and that sets the seal
on the big reveal.

I steal a prayer to say to
'old Nick' but
the devil I know is slick
and fast.
the last of the suppers
goes on.
