Somewhere in my future, I want you there with me
Holding on so tight, naturally thrilling me
I see the vision of kissing such tender lips
A picture of love oh so sweet and so very fine
My heart flies around inside my chest
Because it's mine all mine
I was lonely and sad not so very long ago
You came ever so softly into my life one day and my every need
You seemed to know,
I know that I should have asked you to take it slow
For I've learned over the years that memories often come
And than quickly tend to go
But special moments last inside always
And their impression leaves behind a lasting glow
