I yearn for you Heart quickens Each throb tugging The string which binds us Eyes search deep Forehead to forehead Nose-tips kissing Soul knowing Unfurling more each day This deep yearning This calm overwhelming This whole we have made for ourselves From two broken souls And as we mend our own As we mend each others Your shoulder and chest become my turtle shell My busker's chair Your head crowns mine Arms pull me tight and close: Home.
