Dec 2015
The heart wrenching cry of a mother who has lost their son
The hungry cry of a babe who has no one
The mournful howl of the pup who has been needlessly beat
The hollow look of the lost loves' weep
The dimmed lights of a funeral procession
The look of defeat in a boxers loss of agression
The sunken eyes of a soldier returned
The one who has lost to war their entire platoon
These are just a few of the things on which we write
These are but a few heartaches of what keeps us poets awake during the night....
Sleep my fellow poets, they will still be there on the morrow.....
