You speak to my heart
Sometimes through tiny scraps of paper
It's just ink
But I save every one, clinging to them when my mind goes dark
Sometimes through melodies,
Words that are not your own,
But convey your every thought and feeling
And sometimes through your kiss
As the taste of you lingers on my lips, begging for more
It's been seldom lately that I hear your voice
But I've come to realize
That with you
spoken words aren't necessary
For me to know,
To feel your love
Because in every way
Even in those I didn't know you could
You speak to my heart
