Here I sit and write this note

I don't think there is a antidote

to how in love with you I feel

I pinch myself to see if this is real



I know we are both free now

free from the shackles of sadness

I know that you want me

as much as I want you


I did cast my soul to the stars last night

I travelled amongst them and ask.. is this right

they did glow radiant all in agreement and bright

by the stars they did tell me earnestly this is right


So you have me as long as you want me

I will protect you and provide love to you

making happiness real everyday

with laughter and joy in every way
