I can never get away from it
though it grates on my nerves a bit,
feels like the pen is glued to my palm.

'Keep calm and carry on writing,
are you having me on?
the rhymes have a mind of their own
and I just tag on along.

I don't write
I produce,
I am a victim of
poetic abuse.

Never ever get away
I can't get free from
the verses in me.

Life sentence.
