Bruises and scars can't be covered
But that's fine because we just need a shoe
As we are getting older
Just remember, they are getting older too

We have different stories hidden behind our masks
But they have decided to remove their own
Because they want us to know that we can cast
Each can conjure magic for the lives we've known

They let us explore the beauty of learning
They gave us lessons in Science, Math, and English
They cheered on us while we are competing
They helped us appreciate what we have finished

But the most important thing they taught us?

They taught us how to see
The real meaning of why we live
They lend us the sacred key
We just need to take it and believe

They taught us how to breathe
Every time our lungs are empty
We just need to relax and appreciate
We are surrounded by life's beauty

They taught us how to laugh
But they didn't tell us how to live
Because we will always have the freedom
And they know that's what we need

And sometimes the ones' who taught us
They will leave in an instant
It doesn't matter how fast
Because we will be crashed by a giant

Though we don't want it to happen
Sometimes they will leave too soon
The only thing we can do is to listen
Because life can get out of tune

Though we will hate what we have lost
We will always find something to hope for
Although our hearts is currently enduring a cost
That will be reason to search for the right door
This poem is dedicated for our dearest teacher who died last night.
We will never forget.
We promise.
