Barren Ice Rink
When you tell yourself
You will fall in love
Is when you fall the hardest
I hit the dry pavement with a
smack
We were at the ice rink at fifteen
And you said those three words
With a heart full of fear
I said them back
I was so right to be afraid
It's starting all over
And I'm gonna run
But sometimes
Running hurts
Just as much as that **** pavement.
