The power of communication lights even the darkest of times.

Just one "Hello" or thoughtful message can save those lost
From drifting without a hand to hold on to.

Postcards ,which started your Grandparent's relations overseas, to their wedding..was worth the postage and the chance of a greater outcome.

Loss of contact can be worse than bad advice.

One feels the cold of silence...

Since all they needed was an open ear for someone to lend them...

To save them from some lonely hours of pain, was never there..

They faded from trusting you.

Opening up to someone is always worth more than some extra unspent days and wasted  time...

   Avoiding to speak your mind...
Due to the fear of regrets and rejection...
Is only a lost chance to find that new "Best Friend."

To brighten up their minds to know how you are doing.
Even though miles away...
A new part of world news or culture is shared..

Fears of the worst of events, sometimes, keep us from stopping to a stranger to say, "Hello."

One never knows unless they've tried...

A proper Salutation and a warm-hearted intention is all one needs to send ,to  another ,to keep the chain of light steady and bright.

Reach out and say, "Hello."

The ways in which  we communicate may  have changed, however, never the outcome....

of that postcard sent to your soon-to-be-grandmother, that your grandfather sent to her in Germany was s a chanced communication that created your generation.
