Sun setting lower in the west
Casting it's last golden rays on Mother Nature's breast
Thr wind howls through the fields of grain
Flowing past where she has lain
the caw of the crow speaks softly in her ear
"I will take all of your despair"
That sealed her fate, knowing then her worth
As she let her lifeblood seep into the earth
