When I can't get to sleep,
I write down my thoughts,
I think of everything else,
no one thinks of

When I can't get to sleep,
I wish I could get to sleep,
but something keeps me awake,
I just stay awake

My depression gets worse,
My medication doesn't work
My thoughts go to doing
that I know I should not
think of
like suicide and other things,

This is what happens to me when
I write Late Night Poetry.
