You must be brave without a gun.
To be brave with one.
In law enforcement you're serving a purpose.

You upholding a position of authority.
When you have a badge and a gun.

Within prison correctional officers aware of that danger.
Taught to read body reaction and vocal tone and ****** expression.
Because they have less than you do.

If you nervous when approaching a subject.
Then fear rules your heart although you have a badge and a gun.
Then you should wait for back up before approaching anyone.

Let not the gun place you in danger to hurt or be hurt.
But to protect.
Many officers wear that badge and earn various forms of respect.
