Black as the wings of the raven lay the petals of the darkest rose.
It grows politely in the hedgerow.
Discreetly awaiting plucking.
Black roses are rare.
So rare.
Precious as diamonds.
Not for taking, nor stealing.
Maybe their petals are stained.
Sharp horned black roses are they actually real?
