From reading the poems here

One might think that young people LIKE

to be used and abused (!)

They certainly write enough about it

And always seem reluctant to part with the abuser (!)

In fact

The famiarity of the abuse

Seems to offer a form of physcic  shelter

Now

This is a far cry from suggesting that they SEEK abuse

But it does suggest ( in conjunction with

The heavy instances of DEPRESSION here )

That LONLINESS is thought of as worse than

A horrid relationship

This is something that the

COLLECTIVE POETIC MIND

Might find some true inspiration in exploring

And might serve as an avenue of healing
