Beware of the kindness of strangers
it may be a minute too late
Ah, you have a light bulb moment
just a minute too late
that they were just users
and, lions in wait
when you find out the danger
of trusting others
who desire your favors
Ah, just a minute too late
justifying all of their hate
strangers disguised as angels
living as devils, and spreading their lies
you wish right now you'd looked into their eyes
Ah, your light bulb moment
all because...
* it was a minute too late.
