I let it grow
The brown and grey
****** hair
Spreading like a plague
To cover the face
I used to hate

Now that shaggy man
That scraggly hound
Isn’t so bad

Despite the rough
Times he had
He has a heart
To hold the whole world
In loving esteem

Who cares if he is raggedy
And smelly

He is love incarnate
Messy but brilliant
King of mercy
A little *****

But
Who wouldn’t have
***** hands
When they are struggling
To plow a field
Full of angry fists
And replace them with
Love
