…your eyes
and the way they linger on my face
the way they sparkle
the way they tell things your mouth can’t
just like "i love you" or "i hate you"
just like "leave me alone" or "i need you"

…your hands
and the way the graze on my skin
the way they touch me here and there
the way yours dominates mine

…your voice
and the way it creates waves in my ears
the way happiness emanates from it
the way you ramble and how it makes sense to me
the way your voice shakes when you want to say those words

…your lips
and the way it touches mine
the way it quirks up
the way they fit on mine
the way it turns crimson
when you go harsh on mine

you
you, you, you
it’s always you
and the way you make me feel things
i have never before
the way you run in my head
along with the clandestine thoughts

it’s always the way
you’re you
