She tortured me
Like a lonely sailor I was easy prey
It was easy to say ok
Even seeing the inkling of deceit
Staring right out at me
She touched me and there was hope
And with enough distance
She cut my throat
Left me to bleed
To lay here and seed the soft earth
With red water as I sank deeper and deeper
Down into the ground
She resurrected me with love
But left the better part to death
And I became a zombie
