so that we can't be seen

Poetry 's greatest gift is its ability

To totally obliterate

all sense of any reality

That might bind us to responsible behavior

to be a poet is to be a merchant of death

thru our poetry we can so distort the

Truth about Love so that

any young person who reads us

will never really be able to

Live normally

It gives us a real sense of power to do this

and we can do this over and over again
