There are times
when we fall down
there are times
when we drown
but, all we can do
is look up to the people
who still stand
on the ground

we try reaching out to them
but, we can’t even make a sound
they can’t hear us
we are invisible
and the feeling of hopelessness
is growing stronger in us

As we fall deeper and deeper
into the darkness
our absence and our silence
will make them realize
that we no more exist
and we leave this earth
knowing that, no one
valued our existence
