*A face and a hand in a grand illustration,
still in the corner I hide
Formed of this feel and its lengthened frustration,
longing to come but inside

Thoughts that I bear, like a weight ever growing,
changing my whole point of view
Staring the crowd it is who I am knowing,
given the old and the new

Moving a bit, to evade their detection,
what would the words seem to say
Scared and amiss and in fear of rejection,
cast but the hours away

A shrug of my shoulders, the look on my face,
all as an act and a dream
For I have fallen this road to retrace,
loneliness now starts the theme

When in the distance I hear as I’m falling,
voices I tend to believe
Giving me guidance, so long I’ve been calling,
waiting this time to receive

Take what you want, it can't wait any longer,
nothing to lose but regret
Tell her your feelings and watch it grow stronger,
jump in, get both your feet wet

I heeded their message and ended the crying,
reached for her out of the blue
Showed her a love that was endless, undying,
proving to always be true

Now with her hand on these future endeavors,
placing our pen at the start
Words on the page we are writing together,
verses of love from the heart
