Teacher I see you

As I saw you long ago

Teacher I see you

To me the same now as then

Teacher I see you

The spark in your eyes still shines

Teacher I see you

Knowing look and welcome smile

Teacher I see you

Kind words echo from the past

Teacher you are here

I am eleven again

You're by my side and I smile
