Torn out of heaven by my friends
To see a boy about a girl
Falling asleep to a backwards sun
Are the rulers of the world

So gather two of every animal
Holy Ghost you should clutch
We’ve been christened with fire
So hell wouldn’t hurt as much

And the dreams we forget
Tend to hold the keys
To a place found in death
That overshadows memory

So gather two of every animal
Holy Ghost you should clutch
We’ve been christened with fire
So hell wouldn’t hurt as much
