going
( going )
•
I'm a going down that River
//
I'm a goin down that River
••
away from the sickness of Compromise
The silly little girls with their razor - blade eyes
They say
I LOVE YOU
but ain't nothin clearer
They only love their image in some mirror
///
Going
I'm a going
Going down that River
//
To where the girls tryin to become women
Gather together and start livin
Who love tomorrow and tomorrow's children
Who take their souls back to the beginning
Of life itself and it's pure creating
//
COME ON BOYS
BEFORE ITS TOO LATE
AND WE DONT KNOW WHAT IS
FROM WHAT AINT
//
Let's get going
Going down that River
//
To the holy freedom in sacred hills
To where we shall live by our own free will
And plant our seed in the fertile fields
Where the girls striving to be women
Gather together in righteous giving
//
Going
Going
Going down that River
We goin down
We goin down
We goin down that River
