No thunder
no lightning
no pen and no writing,
nothing to do except
sit here waiting for you
and I do.

At one of the clock
I hear the key in the lock
and I turn on the light
to welcome her,
standing there,
by the door,
there's more but
the light goes off
and I can't see,
the key in the door
becomes me,
and I do.
