The young child on the street !

The old crossing guard !

They call to each other HEIL ****** !

••

The lovely high school girl

The scars upon her wrists

The cork bobbing up and down in the waters

She lies in her lonely bed

The ice cream vendor !

The movie theatre is closed today

Someone told me something once

Sacred wisdom in the mountains

She slit her wrist and went to school

The cool winds

Play with her dress

If she dreams of a boy she will not tell

Only when she forgets to take her meds

Does she remember why

She was taking them in the first place

They said HEIL ****** to each other

Breezes blow softly

And I am here
