As the sun turns black
And the grass turns red
Within this world
Of pain and hate
Salvation will come
When it's too late

We focus on now, instead of then
Even though we know, how and why it was
We're doomed to repeat it
All over again

So before this world
Goes up in flames
I ask you all
To bring down this wall

The one that's built
Of ignorance and hate
In order to prevent
Our miserable fate
The "THEN" in the 1st verse of the 2nd stanza can mean both THE FUTURE and THE PAST.
In the 1st verse it means the FUTURE, but if it's combined with the 2nd verse it means the PAST
The sun turning black = End of the World ( in this case humanity )
The grass turning red = From all the blood spilled during war ( which is the cause of verse 1 )
