Holy Mother Mary
What is goin' on
We still celebrate
The day your son was born
But now they’re tellin us
That we must worship you
Can you tell me please
While I’m on my knees
What am I to do

Holy Mother Mary
Blessed is the womb
That bore your holy son
But now must we assume
That you’re the holy one
Prophesized to come
Can you tell me please
While I’m on my knees
What am I to do

Holy Mother Mary
Please enlighten me
I don’t understand
I’m a Jesus fan
How can this all be
Should I worship thee

Holy Mother Mary
Tell me what da deal
To me you’re really real
But even so I feel
To change you overnight
Just wouldn’t be right
Can you tell me please
While I’m on my knees
What am I to do

Holy Mother Mary
Please enlighten me
I don’t understand
I’m a Jesus fan
How can this all be
Should I worship thee

Holy Mother Mary
What is goin' on
We still celebrate
The day your son was born
But now they’re tellin us
That we must worship you
Can you tell me please
While I’m on my knees
What am I to do

Holy Mother Mary
Blessed is the womb
That bore your holy son
But now must we assume
That you’re the holy one
Prophesized to come
Can you tell me please
While I’m on my knees
What am I to do
