The past.
It is a place and time, where things have come and gone.
It is a place and time where we seek what has been lost for long.

The past.
It is where our fond memories stay.
Where our minds dive into the fray.
We watch as our skies turn gray.

Why can't we let go of the past?
When it's mostly stained glass.
Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years -- time, passes.
But our memories do not.
We may forget, but not a lot.
The times in which we were happy is what we sought.
Sadness and regret is what we got.

I long for the sweet moments.
Unfortunately we all get harsh torment.
