The hand of the Lord is by my side
He will bestow His light
He will bring news bright
Though some may see the truth as sad
The Lord will give me strength
Even when circumstances seem to be bad
He shows me truths
Hidden in despair
When others give up
He gives me strength
To trudge forward with care
Knowing He is my guide
I feel great peace
Overwhelmed inside!
On the days that I am feeling down
I pray for His strength
I remember how His Son
Was forced to wear the thorny crown
Jesus suffered for sins
Of all mankind
I owe Him my all
I must open my mind & heart
With love for others
That has no binds
