In the shiver of morning light
hands so cold
can't feel to write
can't see to feel and
fail to see the words
that run away from me.

Heating on
a warming cup,
woollies warming,
I get up.

A Sunday,
*** day, hang
around looking glum day?
Not for me,
places to go
people to see
I want to be
in the mix.
