I saw a little girl
and as she giggle as she twirl
I was caught up in a little whirl
of flashbacks that are slightly blur

Moments when I was a kid occurred
times when I laugh at things that were absurd
crying when my eyes were squirted with a lemon
and hiding inside the carton

T'was the good old days
but now I'm stuck in a maze
tryin' to find myself back
as if I'm lost in the track

It's been 10 years when I left my toys
as I found new joys
and my older self seems to miss
that tiny kiss of a bliss

Now I'm saying hi
to the world of adulthood
and I'm bidding goodbye
to my childhood

As my thoughts become invisible
and reality is just invincible
my ever younger self starts to fade
the little girl was now a shade
