SNOW QUEEN
She bound my soul in the frozen tundra
A thousand years I lay waste
My ship and crew had long since perished
My guardian angel without a trace
Frostbitten bitter arctic memories
Flee the howling changing wind
As she cast eyes on the nearest star
To steal the fire held within
Days of our youth freeze then crumble
Innocence fading shortly dies
Remainders of our icy palace
And a heart deceivedΒ in frozen lies
I pity her now as my soul thaws
To a world where warmth is in season
Yet thereβs always a shiver when I remember
How quickly love changed to treason
