At times, the greyness sidles in
snuggles up to me and
I begin
to see in shades of black and white.
It all adds up to being right, but feels as if
I don't belong.

At times, times ten it sidles in again
stronger and more disconcerting
hurting me,
I see that greyness and in all fairness
it sees me as
a willing victim.
