All we hope, and gather,
All we see and pass,
Forever sinks, would rather,
Die in flames of brass.

Oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh,
Were can our mistakes be, if all we are is sin?
Where there's nothing left to live for, and all is cold within?
There's one above, one up there,
One who heals our hearts,
One who saves and glorifies,
We don't live in the bastille this time to start.

All we're longing for,
All we want in life,
Forever leaves it's stay,
But He will slay the strife.

Oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh,
Were can our mistakes be, if all we are is sin?
Where there's nothing left to live for, and all is cold within?
There's one above, one up there,
One who heals our hearts,
One who saves and glorifies,
We don't live in the bastille this time to start.
