I resolved not to speak of you anymore

Then you sashay past
And my eyes run its
Grubby, trembling gaze
All over your soft, soft lips
Past your shoulders
Down your timid ankles
Then slowly back up

And I find myself writing again
Line after line
While stealing glances
Every time you glide past me

The lilt of your voice
Promises lifetimes
Braving the Siberian gales
Greeting the foggy morning sun
Treading rising waters

Just when the horizon cleared
Did I find myself falling again
To the geisha.
