Falling Out Of The Talent Tree
I was happy living up there
high up in the branches
yet my talents were many
and the fruit got heavy
That autumn night
by the pale moonlight
I fell to the earth
to begin a new life
I would construct myself
I would grow me
we of many names
after falling out of the talent tree
I mean to grow strong
and maybe one sweet day fruit
forever fighting the winds of time
for understanding is absolute
