What wonders I have seen
life in all it's myriad of beauty
in those younger days
innocence reigned supreme

Yet all my hopes of a good life
with the songs of love resounding
no, all I hear are the drums of battle
the first time I did, I lost my innocence

Now my sword is drenched in the blood of my foes
and all the dreams I had, have now dissipated
fighting to bring peace, does not really make sense
all I want back is my childhood innocence

They say, a warrior is always a warrior
they say. they don't change their spots
but I still believe I need not them attack
as all I want is my innocence back
