Gap
There is a small gap between you and me
Some may call it a cavity
It aches
It's fixed with filling
They pile it high
It has a tendency to rot away
And then there is no bridge that connects us
A gap that divides us
You cannot build something over that
Through the crack I see your joy
And everyday I seem to cause some pain
To my refrigerated heart
By looking at the crevice
That divides us
