Stop drinking alcohol & beer.
Or your car you can't drive or steer.
I know we worked together for two years.
It is not true the rumor of you being queer.

I know I am a little older.
The rejection feels colder.
My persuasion gets bolder.
I write my poems & keep them in a folder.

You work the produce department.
In my heart I reserved a special compartment.
Together we should get an apartment.
