My crystal heart was chipped
"By your callus thoughts"
You worded this as a
Chisel hitting constantly
Upon my
Compassion,
Sensitivity,
Cowardice
Was your weapon of choosing.
Taking those moments that meant,
And just scattering them into flame
Where memories you turned to ash.
I cried so many tears they fell like
Glass,
Fragile,
Delicately
Shattering as each fell, I trod over
Them, emotions cutting against my feet.
So many shards of sorrow
So many thoughts lavished my cheeks.
I had a crystal heart that you
"Purposely Chipped"
"Not caring that my emotions"
"Were shattering upon the earth"
I will scatter no more in front of your cold eyes,
"You have lost a valuable jewel"
The moment you chipped away at my *heart.
