Dec 2014
on the creaking
wooden pier
in the moon's
full glow
an enchanting glint
upon the kidney shaped lake
did capture his eyes so
it struck a powerful chord
within his lonely heart
it twas irresistible
a jewel of beauty so unique
in its radiant light
the whole of his soul
did steep
her tangible essence
all but made him weep
so far away
yet so close to touchΒ Β
she held him
with her astounding
elegance
as he turned
to walk back
along the pier
she took him
by the hand
and placed
a profound kiss
upon his
despondent ear
