When he wants to rest
leave him there
even with three strokes
you're heading for his intractable claws,
that in time you realise is more than play
but common assault, drawing  blood
His vet had at one time looked at his nose
commenting it had a bit of Chinese,
surely not siamese
an unspoken language at your peril
